Bumblebee digital was formed from our own frustrations trying to access quality digital marketing solutions for our small business. The digital solutions we found were very expensive and with our spend our needs made their way to the bottom of the pile in favour of bigger business. So we set ourselves a challenge to make sophisticated mobile and digital solutions available to small business at an affordable price. We are very proud that we have succeeded in this very challenging goal with Bumblebee Digital.

Our Philosophy

So why the name? Did you know it is aeronautically impossible for the bumblebee to fly…what a relief nobody told the bumblebee.

Because we have set out to make the impossible….well, possible, we chose the bumblebee to fly our flag. Bumblebees are small but highly agile, innovative, hard working and they pollinate the world’s food supply keeping everything in balance. The role they play is vital to the survival of the human race. A strong mobile digital strategy is imperative to the survival of business today, without it, it is impossible to form strong and deeply engaging relationships with customers and stay ahead of the competition. Scott has invested the last 25 years in growing businesses in a number of competitive industries including telecommunications, franchising and pet services. Scott has always been quick to embrace cutting edge technology and recognise new trends. This along with hard work and a focus on building and attracting an amazing team of talented and competent people has attributed to his success in business.

Scott has no formal tertiary education and has learnt through the school of ‘hard knocks’. Finding success against the odds, Scott has always felt a connection with the BumbleBee, given its proportions it should be impossible for it to fly. Yet is does. So the name came very naturally.

Giving back to the community and society at large is fundamentally important to Scott and his family and so this philosophy has carried through to BumbleBee Digital Impact.

Scott and Janine are a husband and wife team combining their complementary skills to build a global digital brand specialising in providing innovative digital solutions for small business.

Janine Hoffman

Business Development Manager

Janine has enjoyed a career in sales and marketing for 18 years specialising in digital and internet marketing for both local and global companies. Along with sales and marketing Janine has been responsible for client relations while managing a portfolio of large high profile corporate clients. She has worked in the financial and medical industry as well as the education sector and has had a front row seat to the changing business and marketing landscape brought about by new technology, social media and the dominance of search engines.

As well as a career in the corporate world Janine has also run her own small business and initiated a number of small start-ups. She understands firsthand what is required to flourish in the competitive world of business. Janine’s corporate and business experience has taught her that delivering an exceptional customer experience is paramount to growth and success.

Janine is currently completing an MBA at the University of Western Australia and is looking forward to bringing her expertise to BumbleBee Digital.
